Dimer of pentaerythritol as polyhydric alcohol containing 6 esterificable hydroxyl groups. It is obtained as the by-product while manufacturing from pentaerythritol to formaldehyde and acetaldehyed. They are used for firproof paint, and heat stabilized of polyurethane and polyesters resin.
